Our Idaho property consists of 10,000 acres ranging in elevation from about 6,000 to 7,500 feet. Rolling sage hills with draws full of maplebrush and aspen provide excellent habitat for both deer and elk. The ranch is in Unit 71, where all rifle elk tags are limited, so the bulls have an excellent chance of growing wallhanger racks. We get one or two landowner permits a year, or you can apply for a tag in the annual lottery drawing for either the special early October rifle bull season or the mid-October bull season. Bowhunters can buy tags over the counter for the September rut archery hunt and have a great chance of killing the bull of a lifetime. We hunt bucks Oct. 20-25. We have openings for self-guided archery elk hunters.
