We have pared our leases down to our best properties. We currently offer semiguided and fully guided hunts. Call us to work out the details for a hunt custom-designed for your goals and budget.
Terrain
Guides
Most leases are in foothills and mountains from 6,000 to 9,500 feet with most hunting from 7,500 to 8,500 feet. Size varies from 2,500 to 30,000 private acres.

Vegetation varies from oakbrush, sagebrush, crop fields, chokecherry and maple brush to aspen, fir and spruce with some grassy meadows and crop fields, such as winter wheat, alfalfa and CRP crested wheatgrass.

We hire guides who are experienced hunters who are skilled at glassing and other effective hunting methods. We like to assign you a guide as soon as you book a hunt so that you can keep in touch with your guide as your hunt approaches. We recommend booking a guided hunt your first time with us. Once you learn a property and the hunting tactics we have found to be productive in our area, you might consider a semi-guided or self-guided trip in a future year.
Accommodations, meals
Licenses

Accommodations and meals are not included on most hunts. Our properties are near towns with restaurants and motels with reasonable rates, or you can camp out. We can provide wall tent or travel trailer accommodations at an extra fee.

In Utah you must buy a license and a tag. Click here for updated prices. The license and tag are not included in the price of the hunt. You must apply for a tag to hunt our northeastern property by Feb. 26. The other properties have over-the-counter tags after the permit drawing.
Travel
Notes

On most hunts you can fly into Salt Lake City, where you can rent a car for the drive to the ranch. If you're hunting within 90 minutes of Salt Lake City, we can arrange to have you shuttled between the airport and hunting camp for $100 round trip per person. If you're hunting outside 90 minutes from SLC, the fee is $200 per person per round trip.

You'll be charged a $500 penalty for shooting a buck with antlers less than 20 inches wide (outside spread) on the last scheduled day of a hunt. If you hit a buck, and we fail to recover the animal, we hunt only that deer until dark of the following day. If we are unable to find the deer, then you can hunt another buck if you still have time on your hunt.
