Lodging and meals

In general lodging and meals are not included except on our hunts in Mexico. However, when you're a hunting a ranch where the landowner fee includes the use of a house, lodging is included. Also, when hunting remote Limited-Entry Units in Utah, camp meals and either tent or camp trailer lodging are included. We hire a cook if four or more hunters are in camp. Otherwise the guides do the cooking. We do not skimp on food although if you opt for a backpack hunt, expect meals made from dehydrated or freeze-dried food. Restaurant meals are not included in the price of any hunt unless arrangements are made in advance. |

Not included in the price of the hunt. You can stay in a motel and eat restaurant meals or stay in a public or private campground.
Motels are available in Ogden (30-40 minutes away), Coalville (10 minutes away), and Echo (10 minutes away -- this motel sometimes does not open during the season).
Camping is not recommended on the ranch, but campgrounds are available within about 20 minutes at Coalville (private), Morgan (private) and East Canyon (public and private).

In some areas house lodging and meals are included. In other areas motel quarters and restaurant meals are not included. In other areas you'll stay in a backpack tent and eat backpack meals.

You'll stay in the guide's house, 10 to 40 minutes from the ranch. Meals are not included in the price of the hunt except for breakfast. You'll eat in motels and take sack lunches.

Lodging and meals are not included. You may camp on the ranch or along a public reservoir that lies on a public inholding on the ranch. You also may rent cabins at a nearby ranch. Some have dinettes, and all have access to a hot tub. Prices are typically $90 to $150 per cabin per night, and some accommodate four or five persons. |
